Matt has been actively practicing bankruptcy law since he became an attorney in 2009. He prides himself on his pragmatic approach to debt restructuring, resolution, and relief.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt represented both debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, as well as served as the staff attorney to the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee for Tacoma/Vancouver. His experiences in these roles give him the unique ability to evaluate his client’s financial conditions from multiple perspectives to find solutions that may go unnoticed by other practitioners.
When he is isn’t working, Matt enjoys cooking for his friends and family, traveling anywhere near salt water, and soaking up the elusive Pacific Northwest sunshine whenever he is lucky enough to see it.
